About Us:
We met four years ago on a rickety fire escape while watching the Pride Parade from above, and we've been together ever since. Last year, we were married in a big wedding surrounded by our parents, family and friends.
Both of us were raised with large families around us. We are a diverse mix of Filipino and Italian backgrounds. Strong family values and our religion play an important role in our lives and that is how we plan to raise our child.
About Phil:
Originally from Whitestone, Queens, Phil is your typical New York Italian. Family, food and friends is what it's all about!! Phil thinks he has the world's greatest job. He's an airline pilot. From the time he was a kid he has been passionate about planes and flying. For Phil, flying is a dream, a job and a calling. Phil remembers that as a child he and his father used to drive to JFK Airport together just to drive around the terminals and catch a glimpse of a red TWA 747. Now he flies three days a week and is home every night -- perfect for starting a family.
About Larry:
Before moving to New York in 2004, Larry lived in the suburbs of Cleveland, OH. He's a lover of arts and pop culture. He loves researching fun, affordable things to do in the city. His friends and family often note his sense of humor and even-tempered personality. His heritage is Filipino and he loves catching up with his parents and older sister Lenny on regular phone calls. Larry works in Manhattan as a sales manager for a major book publisher. He enjoys playing a part in getting books into the hands of readers and having a job that allows him to enjoy evenings and weekends completely work-free to enjoy with Phil and his expected family.
